About The Position

J & L Innovations, LLC provides compassionate, non-medical home care services to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently in their homes. The Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant provides supportive services that help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Care is guided by a faith-centered culture and values of love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, patience, and self-control. Care may include personal care, mobility and safety support, daily living assistance, companionship, emotional support, and observing and reporting changes in clients’ well-being. Flexible part-time, weekend, overnight, and live-in scheduling options are offered. Caregiver training may be provided to qualified candidates.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background screening.
Ability to assist clients with mobility.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide, or PCA is identified as a candidate fit, but is not stated as a mandatory requirement.
Dependability, compassion, respectful communication, and valuing dignity in caregiving.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
Help clients walk and transfer between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs; provide fall-prevention support.
Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, provide medication reminders, and assist with errands and transportation.
Provide companionship through conversation and activities, and monitor client well-being.
Document care activities and report concerns or health changes to supervisors.
Provide care with love, dignity, compassion, and respect.
