About The Position

Visiting Angels of Boerne is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical, private-duty in-home living assistance to elderly and disabled clients in the Hill Country area. Caregivers are an essential part of the team and help clients with daily routines, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The employer offers continuing education in care areas such as dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

Requirements

• Pass a background check.
• Have a valid driver’s license or ID and auto insurance.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a desire to serve others.
• Have knowledge of emergency responses and first aid.
• Be able to perform light housekeeping and cooking, including attention to dietary restrictions.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Be respectful and compassionate.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate strong ethics.
• Have physical endurance.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
