About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Home Care Aide/Caregiver to provide personalized, home-based care that helps seniors live safely and happily at home. The role includes personal care, support with daily activities, companionship, and help maintaining a safe home environment. Aides work with a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio and can set their own schedule. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
CPR certification.
COVID-19 vaccination card.
Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Help ensure a safe home environment by keeping pathways unobstructed.
Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
