About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and experienced caregiver to support a client every Monday during a 14-hour shift, from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The caregiver will help promote the client’s health, safety, and independence through daily support, monitoring, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation. Applicants should map out the driving distance before accepting the position to ensure the commute works for them.

Requirements

• Be punctual and reliable.
• Have a reliable vehicle.
• Be able to transport the client to local doctor’s appointments and grocery stores.
• Have strong communication and observation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years of caregiving experience.
• Experience working with or understanding the needs of individuals with brain injuries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping, including using bleach-based cleaning products.
• Assist with a leg compression boot.
• Provide stand-by assistance with mobility and daily activities.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s overall health and well-being.
• Encourage and monitor fluid intake.
• Transport the client to medical appointments.
• Take the client grocery shopping and run errands as needed.
