About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home support to aging adults in Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, and surrounding areas. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Client-specific duties may include stand-by and hands-on mobility assistance, Hoyer lift operation, catheter care, support for bedbound clients, dementia and hospice care, and transportation to outings.

Short shifts are available across mornings, days, and evenings, with specific schedules listed for Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, and Valley Village. Weekend availability is preferred, and the qualifications state that caregivers must work weekends. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Applicants must meet state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must work weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• California HCA Registration; the employer can help candidates obtain it upon hire.
• Must meet state background requirements, including applicable California fingerprint identification requirements.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.

• Saturday or Sunday availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Perform basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and grocery shop.
• Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other social and emotional activities.
• Provide stand-by assistance and hands-on mobility support as needed, depending on client assignment.
• Operate Hoyer lifts, provide catheter care, and support bedbound clients when required.
• Provide dementia or hospice care and transport clients to outings when required.
