Caregiver Part time NOC 7p-7a
About The Position
The Cottages is a small, home-like senior living community focused on helping seniors live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Caregivers provide attentive, compassionate support and companionship in an intimate setting. Experience is preferred but not required; industry-leading training is provided, with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company. This is a part-time overnight position scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Employment offers are contingent upon successful reference checks, drug screening, and background screening. Requirements
- A compassionate attitude and sincere desire to help others.
- Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, and be proactive and thoughtful.
- Successful completion of a criminal history check.
- Pass the post-offer drug test.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Qualities sought include care and compassion, reliability, dependability, maturity, agility, sincerity, timeliness, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with hygiene and grooming, including bathing and dressing.
- Provide medication assistance and perform Med Tech duties.
- Monitor residents and provide safety supervision.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility.
- Do laundry.
- Provide joyful companionship.
