About The Position

Silverado Alexandria is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on compassionate, dependable care and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is the NOC shift on Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday. The anticipated pay range is $19–$22 USD per hour. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
