About The Position

Sevita is hiring a Caregiver for a residential program. Caregivers help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. The role involves supporting participants’ personal hygiene and developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers also help participants take part in their communities and enjoy their favorite activities. Individuals served may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

The schedule is one day a week from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with an EO shift from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pay is $15 per hour. A valid driver’s license held for at least one year after the permit stage and a clean motor vehicle record meeting Sevita’s insurability policy are required.

Requirements

• No high school diploma is required.
• No prior experience is required.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least one year after the permit stage.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
