About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide services to a client in the Okmulgee area. Caregivers help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes by supporting daily living needs. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid in-office initial training and ongoing training. Compensation is $11.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience. The role offers flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive work atmosphere.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check, as required by state requirements.
• Pass a drug screen, as required by state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal-preparation areas, and eating as needed.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
• Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
• Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry; use a laundromat when needed.
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and going to the post office.
• Assist with activities of daily living, transportation, and telehealth visits.
• Provide companionship.
• Be reliable, dependable, and punctual, and rarely be absent from work.
