Payette Area Caregiver
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide services to a client in the local area. Caregivers help patients remain safe and independent in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, household tasks, meals, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required. The company provides paid in-office initial training and ongoing training, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation based on certifications and experience. Daily Pay is available, and select shifts offer an additional $1 to $4 per hour in shift differentials.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check according to state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleanup, and eating as needed.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and visiting the post office.
- Assist with shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, arrive on time, and rarely be absent from work.
