Caregiver (PM Shift) - Assisted Living Community - Shakopee
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Shakopee. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered support to residents, helping them with daily living and contributing to their well-being. Experienced and newly certified candidates are welcome. Paid onboarding training is provided, along with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The position is for the PM shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Part-time and full-time schedules are available; all shifts require availability to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability for the PM shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Team-player attitude and excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
