Caregiver (NOC Shift) - Forest Lake
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers for its Forest Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Caregivers provide personalized care and support directly to residents. The role is open to experienced or newly certified candidates, including CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR caregivers. This position is for the NOC shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the company's Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. Ongoing leadership support and a team member development program with wage increases are also provided. Part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Be a team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability for the NOC shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Help with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
