About The Position
Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support for individuals with special needs during the evening shift. This position involves working closely with clients to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being from 5pm to 10pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those they care for.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for individuals with special needs is preferred.
- Ability to work the evening shift from 5pm to 10pm on specified days.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation duties are required).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with special needs.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in the client’s home or care setting.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
- Transport clients safely as needed (if applicable).
