About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caring, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Sunderland, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role is open to experienced PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, and homemakers, as well as people new to caregiving. Free training is available to qualified applicants who do not yet have HHA or CNA certification. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The position offers flexible and consistent scheduling opportunities, with 8- to 12-hour shifts and day or overnight options. Weekday and weekend opportunities are available. Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional encouragement.
- Prepare meals based on client preferences and dietary needs.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run essential errands and shop for groceries.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
