About The Position

We are searching for a reliable and compassionate companion caregiver for a male client in Skokie with Parkinson's. The ideal candidate must be very comfortable with multiple cats and dogs in the house. This role requires the caregiver to work minimally on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for shorter shifts during the week. A car is necessary for taking the client out for activities. Strong organizational skills and conversational abilities are essential. Requirements

• Must be very comfortable with multiple cats and dogs in the house
• Must have a car
• Good organization skills
• Good conversationalist
• Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
• Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job

• Providing companionship and conversation
