About The Position

Brandywine Living at Mahwah is hiring a full-time Caregiver (HHA/CNA) to provide personal care, support, and companionship to residents. The role is based at Brandywine Assisted Living in Mahwah, New Jersey, and is scheduled for 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The hourly rate is $20.31–$21.31.

The Caregiver helps residents with activities of daily living, observes changes in their daily condition and personal care needs, and updates their Resident Care Plans accordingly. The role also encourages residents to participate in community programs and activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of resident care experience.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA).
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship to residents.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Observe changes in residents’ daily condition and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plans.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
