About The Position

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home support for seniors. The role supports clients’ independence and quality of life through physical transfers, assistance with daily living routines, and companionship. Caregivers follow custom Plans of Care and help maintain a safe living environment. Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience in in-home care, a facility, or private care.
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical transfers.
• Excellent communication skills, strong punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
• Comfort working in homes with pets present.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with transfer equipment and dementia care.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist clients with walking, standing, and physical transfers, using equipment such as gait belts, sit-to-stand devices, and mechanical lifts.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Follow custom Plans of Care, maintain a safe living environment, monitor for fall risks, and report changes in client conditions.
• Provide social interaction, active listening, and emotional support.
