About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring on-call Caregivers for its assisted living and memory care community in Shakopee. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered support to residents, helping them with daily activities, mobility, medications, meaningful engagement, housekeeping, and meals. The role welcomes experienced or newly certified caregivers and includes paid onboarding training, ongoing leadership support, and a team member development program with wage increases.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience; assisted living or memory care experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass medications.
• At least 18 years old.
• Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meals.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
