About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is seeking on-call caregivers for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Inver Grove Heights. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. Candidates may be experienced or newly certified; training is provided for medication administration. New team members complete a four-day onboarding program, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. The organization also offers ongoing support from experienced leadership and a team member development program with wage increases.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience; experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
• Availability for casual/on-call work; all shifts must be available to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification; CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, or NAR backgrounds are mentioned.
• Knowledge of CPR and First Aid.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the leadership team.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
