About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical assistance to seniors and veterans in their homes in Alvin, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Applicants must be willing to travel within a 20-mile radius. Part-time opportunities are available, including weekend and overnight work, with flexible scheduling. The role includes in-office orientation and training and support from office staff.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Encourage clients' independence and participation in daily activities.
