Caregiver - Senior Living Community - Chaska
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring Caregivers for its new senior living facility in Chaska, providing assisted living and memory care. Caregivers work directly with residents to deliver personalized support in a person-centered care environment. Experienced and newly certified candidates are welcome. New team members receive four days of paid onboarding training at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, followed by ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. Available shifts are AM (6 a.m.–2 p.m.), PM (2 p.m.–10 p.m.), and NOC (10 p.m.–6 a.m.). Part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience; assisted living or memory care experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications, with training provided.
- Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Available to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
