Caregiver - Senior Living Community
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking caring, dedicated, and compassionate caregivers for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in West Saint Paul. The caregiver works directly with residents in a person-centered care environment, providing personalized assistance and support. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the company’s Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. Ongoing support and development are provided by experienced leadership. The role offers an AM shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; part-time and full-time employees must be available to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Must be available to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration after training.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
