About The Position

Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a caregiver for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in West Saint Paul. The caregiver works directly with residents in a person-centered care environment, providing personalized care and support that promotes dignity and daily well-being. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. The role is offered on the PM shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Part-time and full-time schedules are available; both require availability to work every other weekend.

Requirements

At least six months of caregiving experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to work every other weekend for either a part-time or full-time schedule.
Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
CNA certification.
CPR/First Aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the leadership team.
Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations.
