About The Position

Right at Home Eastern Worcester County is hiring an experienced female CNA or HHA for a consistent, long-term daytime caregiving case in an adult female client’s private home in Ashland, Massachusetts. The client has a neurological disorder, is non-verbal, and needs full assistance with daily care. She may scream or yell during care, so the caregiver must remain calm, patient, reassuring, and professional.

The schedule is listed as Monday through Sunday, with a shift of 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The position listing also mentions four-hour morning and evening weekend shifts. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. Driving is not required for medical appointments attended with the client.

Requirements

• Female CNA or HHA required for this case.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Strong Hoyer lift and total-care experience.
• Comfortable providing full hands-on care.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Active car registration and auto insurance.
• Current physical and Fit-for-Duty note.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Remain calm, patient, reassuring, and professional during care.

Responsibilities

• Provide full hands-on total care.
• Assist with multiple Hoyer lift transfers per shift.
• Provide extensive bed care, including rolling and repositioning.
• Assist with feeding while following aspiration precautions.
• Support wheelchair mobility and proper positioning.
• Maintain the client’s dignity, safety, and comfort.
• Attend medical appointments with the client; no driving is required.
