About The Position

Valley of the Sun Homecare is looking for caring, compassionate, and dependable individuals to provide companionship and support to local seniors. This role offers flexible part-time hours and values the life experience of its caregivers. The more availability and flexibility a caregiver offers (driving distance, shift hours), the better they can be staffed with clients. Clients have needs 7 days a week, with morning, day, evening, and overnight (12-hour) shifts available.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Clear TB test or chest x-ray
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors wherever they call home
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans often focused on dementia care
