About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers to provide in-home care to clients throughout Orange County, LA County, and the Inland Empire. Caregivers support people of all ages, including seniors, children, veterans, people with chronic illnesses, and those recovering from medical procedures. The company’s care philosophy focuses on empowering clients and helping them feel engaged and respected.

The role includes helping clients with daily living activities and maintaining a healthy, comfortable living environment. Available shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, with day, night, and overnight shifts offered. Full-time and part-time hours are available, and schedules are flexible. The company operates 24 hours a day and says shifts can start immediately.

Caregivers receive paid training, including access to Homewatch CareGivers University, which offers online accredited courses and resources related to caregiver certification and licensure. The agency is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its management.

Requirements

• At least six months of professional caregiving experience is preferred, in a facility setting or with a home care agency.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to clear a background check.

Nice To Haves

• California HCA license preferred.
• Professional caregiving experience of at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ongoing care needs and collaborate with families and care staff.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Drive clients to appointments and shopping.
• Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
