About The Position

At Right at Home, we are looking for caring and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in someone’s life by supporting seniors or adults and helping them stay independent in their homes. We offer competitive pay, with opportunities to earn more based on experience, especially in memory care. We are currently hiring caregivers in Kalamazoo, MI for part-time and full-time roles. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate mornings, evenings, nights, or overnights.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience caring for a senior or adult
A kind heart and genuine compassion
Good communication and reliability
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

CNA or HHA credentials are a plus (and come with higher pay)

Responsibilities

Provide companionship through conversation, activities, light housekeeping, running errands, or accompanying clients to appointments.
Offer medication reminders.
Assist clients with daily needs such as meal preparation, bathing, grooming, mobility, and gentle exercise, ensuring dignity and respect.
Communicate with the supportive office team, sharing updates to ensure the best care possible for clients and their families.
Ensure clear communication from shift to shift.
