About The Position

Home Helpers is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide personalized in-home support to a female client. The role focuses on one-on-one assistance with daily personal care, routine skin care for the client’s legs, companionship, and helping maintain her comfort, dignity, and independence. Wound care or wound management is not required. This is a part-time position for 2–3 days per week, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with four-hour shifts. The posting lists compensation of up to $25 per hour plus applicable weekend bonuses, and also gives a compensation range of $25–$27 per hour. The caregiver will work in the client’s home. Home Helpers describes its work atmosphere as friendly and supportive and offers initial and ongoing training, flexible hours, and supervisor support.

Requirements

Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive to detail.
Comfortable providing hands-on personal-care assistance.
Comfortable applying lotion to a client’s legs as part of a routine skin-care regimen.
Able to commit to a consistent afternoon/evening schedule 2–3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, personal-care, home-care, or related experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with applying lotion to the client’s legs as part of her routine skin-care regimen.
Help maintain skin comfort and hydration through routine moisturizing.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a comfortable home environment.
Prepare light meals and snacks as needed.
Support the client’s daily routines while respecting her privacy, dignity, and independence.
As typical caregiver duties, assist with activities of daily living, shopping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, telehealth visits, meal preparation, and companionship.
