About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Blandford, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing companionship, dignity, encouragement, and peace of mind to clients and their families. Caregiving experience is welcome but not required; free training is offered to qualified applicants. HHA or CNA certification is welcome when applicable. Scheduling opportunities include flexible and consistent schedules, 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend work. Compensation is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Qualified new caregivers may receive a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run essential errands and grocery shop.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
