About The Position
Executive Home Care of North County is hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance. The role involves helping clients with personal care, medication reminders, meals, companionship, and observation of their health. Caregivers can receive flexible scheduling, shift options ranging from 4 to 12 hours, personalized work schedules, and consistent client assignments. The pay rate is $19 to $23 per hour.
Requirements
- Successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
- Be compassionate, dependable, patient, and understanding.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to follow care plans and provide individualized support.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience or a similar background.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Remind clients to follow their prescribed medication schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals and encourage proper hydration.
- Provide conversation and emotional support, and assist with appointments or social outings.
- Monitor and document changes in client conditions and report concerns to the care team.
