About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in New Salem, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role is open to experienced PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, and homemakers, as well as people beginning a caregiving career. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing companionship, dignity, encouragement, and peace of mind. The employer offers flexible and consistent scheduling opportunities, including 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend opportunities. Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period. Free training is available to qualified applicants.

Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification is welcome when applicable.
- Experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or homemaker.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run essential errands and grocery shop.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
