About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring caregivers to support clients in the Augusta, Kansas area and help them remain in their homes. Caregivers provide light housekeeping, personal care, errands, and friendly companionship. The role offers flexible scheduling, with part-time and full-time options. Full-time pay is $17 per hour, paid weekly; competitive pay may vary based on experience.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least six months of related PCA experience, personal or professional.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and clean up afterward.
• Provide bathing and personal care.
• Perform basic household chores, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Do laundry.
• Provide companionship.
• Run errands.
