About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is hiring caregivers in the Augusta, Kansas area to help clients remain in their homes. Caregivers provide light housekeeping, personal care, errands, and friendly companionship. The company offers flexible scheduling for people seeking part-time or full-time work. Full-time pay is $17 per hour, paid weekly. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least six months of related PCA experience; personal or professional experience is accepted.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Pass a drug test.
• Pass a background check.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and clean up after meals.
• Provide bathing and personal care.
• Perform basic household chores, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Do laundry.
• Provide companionship.
• Run errands.
