About The Position

Halcyon Home is hiring caregivers, including CNAs and/or CMAs, to provide one-on-one personal care to clients in the greater Austin, San Marcos, and New Braunfels areas. The company emphasizes hospitality, compassion, individualized care, and positive patient outcomes for aging clients. Shifts are available during the day and night and range from 1 to 12 hours. Full-time, part-time, and PRN hours are available, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week, which may consist of multiple short shifts. The listed pay is $15–$20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be COVID-vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• Have a current driver’s license or state identification.
• Have reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and competently perform tasks assigned by a Supervisor or Scheduler.
• Agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check, and a three-year driving-record check.
• Be willing to work at least 8 hours per week, which may be across multiple short shifts.

Nice To Haves

• A CNA license or CMA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide incontinence care and toileting assistance.
• Handle daily laundry and linens and perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Provide dementia and memory care.
• Offer standby assistance during walks.
• Provide transportation and run errands.
