About The Position
The practice is seeking a full-time Chiropractor to join an integrative, multispecialty clinic in Killeen, Texas. The Chiropractor will provide high-quality chiropractic care as part of a multidisciplinary team and work with patients and other providers to set individualized health and wellness goals. The role calls for strong chiropractic skills, experience developing rehabilitation protocols and comprehensive care plans, and excellent communication skills. The clinic brings together medical doctors, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, licensed massage therapists, and physical therapists. Services include medical care, chiropractic care, acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage, with an emphasis on personalized treatment, patient function and mobility, and helping patients return to activities they enjoy. The practice treats a wide variety of conditions and accepts most major medical insurance plans, with out-of-pocket and payment-plan options also available. Compensation is $90,000–$110,000 per year, with an achievable bonus structure. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited chiropractic program (DC).
- Chiropractic license in Texas.
- Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong chiropractic skills.
- Experience developing rehabilitation protocols and comprehensive care plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient examinations and evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and review of pertinent records and imaging.
- Order and review diagnostic imaging when medically necessary.
- Develop treatment plans in a multidisciplinary setting to create an efficient and effective plan of care.
- Educate patients about the value of continued therapy, their diagnosis, care-plan options, chiropractic care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide chiropractic care, including manual manipulations such as Diversified and other chiropractic specialties, therapies, and modalities.
- Develop rehabilitation and exercise programs with physical therapists.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care daily with other providers to help ensure patients achieve expected outcomes.
