About The Position

The Caregiver assists residents with all aspects of daily living as indicated in each resident’s care plan. This includes personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The position is full-time at Brandywine Living at Upper Providence, with shifts from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Compensation is up to $21 per hour, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Direct Care Certificate.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
