About The Position

Mainplace Senior Living is seeking a full-time Caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The Caregiver encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

The role calls for a positive customer service attitude, personal initiative, dependable attendance, thoughtful and timely communication, and careful handling of confidential resident and staff information. The Caregiver is expected to maintain a neat, clean appearance, participate in designated facility in-services, and help new staff learn their job tasks and responsibilities. The starting rate is $18.00.

Requirements

• Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
• Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude and willingness to assist others.
• Demonstrate consistent work attendance as scheduled.
• Have communication skills that include careful listening, sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, thoughtful responses, and timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior direct care experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification.
