About The Position
Home Care Assistance of Philadelphia’s mission is to change the way the world ages. We provide elderly adults with quality care that enables them to have happier, healthier lives AT HOME. This role involves providing daytime care for clients in and around Manayunk, PA (Philadelphia). The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation. Client and caregiver matching is based on skill level, personality, and preferences to foster long-term relationships.
Requirements
- Past experience as a caregiver, either professionally or with family members.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
- Current 2 step PPD, quantiferon gold or chest x-ray (required by PA Dept of Health).
- Willingness to come to the office in Chalfont, PA for an interview and to complete necessary paperwork.
- In-person interviews are required.

Responsibilities
- Assist elderly client with daily living activities, including transfers, helping with bathing, grooming and medication reminders.
