Caregiver Multiple Shifts Available
About The Position
We are seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors and individuals with memory care or physical needs in a supportive environment. Multiple positions are available in Gonzales, Texas, with an immediate need for morning and split-shift coverage. The role is in person, with various shifts available seven days a week, including weekends. The start date is ASAP. Pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour. Caregivers assist clients with daily routines, provide dementia and memory care support, help with safe transfers, transport clients to outings and appointments, and maintain health records in an electronic documentation system. Paid time off and paid training are offered. The team is described as inclusive and supportive.
Requirements
- Experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with safe transfers.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing quality care.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with clients while assisting with daily routines, including dressing, meals, and personal hygiene.
- Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support.
- Assist with safe transfers using mobility equipment, such as Hoyer lifts.
- Transport clients to local outings and appointments as needed.
- Maintain accurate client health records using the electronic documentation system.
