About The Position
One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults in safely maintaining their independence and dignity at home. Caregivers provide non-medical assistance in clients’ homes, including companionship, personal care support, help with daily living activities, and light housekeeping. The schedule varies according to client needs, with flexible shifts available during days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. One You Love Homecare provides compassionate, dependable, and personalized non-medical home care services. Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
- State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; proof of insurance if required for client transport.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
- Observe infection control practices and follow care plan protocols.
- Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Remind clients to take medication.
- Clock in and out and document all tasks.
