About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver to provide quality, safe, and respectful care to a client. The posting identifies the location as Loganville, Georgia, while the job description also refers to a Lawrenceville, Georgia location. The schedule is Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
• Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
• Driver's License.
• Social Security Card.
• Negative TB test results.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Car Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and commode use.
• Provide safe mobility assistance, walking support, and transfers while following fall-prevention precautions.
• Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, and apply an ice pack as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, bed linens, bathroom cleaning, and general tidying.
• Drive the client's vehicle for grocery shopping and medication pickups.
• Ensure the household dog remains safely inside when entering or leaving the home.
• Follow the client's care plan and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
