About The Position
Avalon Essential Home Care is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable caregivers for a male client requiring specialized care. The client is quadriplegic and requires assistance with various care requirements. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, 1-3 days per week, either during the day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The position is in a home environment that includes a German Shepherd, so applicants must be comfortable working with a dog.
Requirements
- CNA Preferred
- Experience with Hoyer Lifts and Complex Care Strongly Recommended
- Rights to Work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License or State Id
- Auto Insurance
- Criminal Background Check
- Be Flexible and Accommodate for Weekends
- Hoyer Lift Experience
- To Work Independently with Minimum Direct Supervision
- Negative Tb Skin Test
- CPR/First Aid
- Be Professional with Clean Attire
- 3 Verifiable Work References
- Have Reliable Transportation
