About The Position

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers for an immediate opening with a client in Berwick, PA. This opportunity may be a great fit for someone looking for consistent morning or evening hours, supplemental income, or part-time caregiving work that fits around another job or schedule. You'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care in the client's home and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient
• Be available for at least some of the currently available Berwick shifts

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
