About The Position

Right at Home Salt Lake is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the Salt Lake area, helping clients live safely and comfortably at home. Caregivers improve clients’ daily lives by providing companionship and assistance with personal care, mobility, meals, home safety and tidiness, transportation, and medication reminders. The position is offered for both part-time and full-time caregivers.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be able to pass a background check.
Have experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship to clients.
Assist clients with personal hygiene and mobility.
Prepare nutritious meals.
Help keep clients’ homes safe and tidy.
Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
Give timely medication reminders.

Benefits

Starting pay of $17.00 to $18.25 per hour, depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training and GUIDE Respite shifts pay $17.00 per hour.
Raises may be available after 60 days and during annual reviews, with consistent hours.
A bonus is available after 60 days for caregivers working 20 or more hours per week who have completed required documents.
Mileage is paid between client visits when visits are under one hour apart.
