About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home and in-facility care in Livermore. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about improving the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. Caregivers will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within a respectful and caring environment.

Requirements

• Experience with home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments preferred
• Current HCA or CNA certification
• Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques
• Ability to assist with complex medical needs such as medication administration and patient monitoring
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and hospice or nursing home experience are highly desirable
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, and those requiring memory or dementia care
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and work independently in a home or community setting
• Experience working with diverse populations including residents with disabilities or special needs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
• Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
• Follow established care plans and adapt to individual client needs while ensuring safety protocols are maintained
