About The Position
New Horizons is hiring caregivers to provide companionship and practical support to clients in their homes, helping them remain independent. Healthcare experience is not required; the employer provides paid training, ongoing support, mentorship, and opportunities to develop skills. The role offers flexible scheduling, with full-time or variable hours available, and clients are matched according to caregiver preferences and comfort level. Pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on shift. Daily pay is available, along with medical health benefits and a $500 annual education credit. Scheduling support is available 24/7.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Enjoy helping others and want meaningful, flexible work.
- Have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Have reliable transportation and be able to drive during shifts as needed.
- Be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, PSW, DSP, or home care aide (HCA); experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support to clients.
- Help clients with meals, errands, and daily tasks.
- Assist clients with personal care.
- Support clients in staying independent at home.
