PRN Caregiver (PM)
About The Position
Silverado Southlake is hiring a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments and help residents live with dignity and joy. Caregivers assist with daily living activities and support residents in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. They build relationships with residents, families, and teammates, maintain accurate care records, and report changes to the nursing team. The position is PRN (per diem), with a listed schedule of four days on and two days off, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
