About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Bernardston, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role is open to experienced PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, and homemakers, as well as applicants who are new to caregiving. Qualified applicants without HHA or CNA certification may receive free training. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by providing personal care, companionship, household assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, and other support. Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Flexible and consistent scheduling opportunities are available, including 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend opportunities. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Run essential errands when needed.
Provide medication reminders.
Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
