About The Position
Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Coal Township and surrounding communities. Caregivers help the people they support remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience is required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on current cases, with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete required background checks.
- Be dependable, caring, and patient.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
- Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA, or CNA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, depending on the individual's needs.
- Help with mobility and everyday activities.
- Prepare meals.
- Complete light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
- Follow the individual's care plan.
- Document services provided.
