Caregiver / Resident Assistant / CNA | No Certification Required
About The Position
Windsor Manor Webster City is hiring compassionate, dependable Caregivers / Resident Assistants for its assisted living team. The role provides support with residents’ activities of daily living, medication reminders as permitted, and care documentation, while helping maintain a safe and welcoming community and building relationships with residents and families. No CNA license or certification is required, and training is provided. Full-time and part-time positions are available on first and second shifts. Full-time applicants must be willing to obtain med manager certification.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related healthcare or caregiving experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion, patience, dependability, and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- At least 18 years old.
- Complete required dementia training and background screening, and follow the Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Full-time applicants must be willing to obtain med manager certification.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, Home Health, Private Caregiver, or Senior Living experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and incontinence care.
- Provide medication reminders as permitted.
- Follow resident service plans and document all care provided.
- Communicate with the Resident Services team to maintain continuity of care.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
- Support activities and daily operations within the community.
